AVOCA Wart and Verruca Silver Nitrate Caustic Pencil 95%

Avoca is used for removing warts including verrucas and excess
tissue, for example, tissue that forms during the healing process
of wounds.
Avoca works by destroying tissue on the surface layers of warts
and verrucas.

Usage Instructions:

1. Put a single drop of clean water on a non-absorbent surface such as an upturned drinking glass or steel cup

2.  Place the tip in the drop of water. Gently move the tip in the water for 20 seconds.
   

3. The drop of water now contains Avoca and the tip is coated in water containing Avoca.
   

4. Do not allow the water or tip to touch healthy skin, clothing, furniture, or other surfaces.

5. Protect healthy skin around the area to be treating with a thin layer of petroleum jelly 

6. Use the tip to transfer the water to the surface of the area to be treated. Make sure the whole area to be treated is covered with the water. Do not rub the tip on the area or use pressure on the tip. If the tip breaks, make sure all pieces are recovered and disposed of in paper tissue.

7. Allow the treated area to dry before contact with any other surface. The treated area will be stained black after a short period of time.

8. Using a paper tissue, dry the tip of the pencil and the remains of the drop of water. Dispose of the paper tissue.

9. Over time, any surface touched by the water or wet tip may be stained black. Stains on the skin will disappear after several days.

10. After 24 hours, the black surface of the treated area should be led away with a course nail buer or ne emery board.

11. The remaining wart/verruca should be treated again.

• The other ingredient is potassium nitrate

Warnings:

Do not use Avoca:

- if you are allergic to silver nitrate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine

Warnings and precautions:

• Do not use it near your eyes.

• Do not use on genital warts.

• Do not use it on sensitive areas of your body.

• Avoca is caustic (can burn).

• Avoca will stain. Any surface, including skin, touched by water

• containing Avoca will be stained. Stains on fabric, wood,

• ceramic, plastic, and other absorbent surfaces may be Permanent.

Other medicines and Avoca:

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are using, have recently

used or might use any other medicines.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding:

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be

pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or

pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
