Clotrimazole 2% cream is a topical remedy used for the treatment of vaginal yeast infections. It includes 20mg of clotrimazole, an antifungal substance that effectively tackles and eradicates the Candida yeast accountable for the infection. The cream is specially formulated for use in the vaginal area, providing relief from itching, redness, and discomfort associated with the infection.

The Thrush External Cream should be applied to the vulva and surrounding area. It can also be applied to the sexual partner's penis to prevent re-infection.

Women:

To treat the itching and soreness of the vulva (vulvitis), the cream should be thinly and evenly applied to the area around the entrance of the vagina, 2 or 3 times a day and smoothed in gently.

Treating your sexual partner:

If your sexual partner is treated with this cream, the cream should be applied to the end of the penis 2 or 3 times a day for up to two weeks.

Do NOT use if:

  • You are allergic or sensitive to any ingredients listed.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should seek advice from your local GP for further advice.
  • This product is for external use only.
  • Keep out of sight and reach from children.
