What needles can you use with Novo Nordisk (Wegovy and Ozempic) and Eli Lilly (Mounjaro) products?
If you are using certain weight loss injections, you can use GlucoRx CarePoint Ultra 4mm / 32 gauge. These are suitable for use with semaglutide injections from Novo Nordisk and tirzepatide injections from Eli Lilly.
How do you this needle? Should you pinch your skin when injecting?
Yes. Make sure to pinch a section of your skin and insert the needle directly (90 degree angle) or at a slight angle (45 degree angle). Ensure that you leave the needle injected long enough to release all of the medication once you have pressed down on the plunger - 5-6 seconds should be enough.
Can you reuse this needle?
This is a single use only product. Reusing the needle could affect the protective coating of the needle & increases the risk of breakage, as well as damage to your skin.
Storage Information
Please keep this product out of reach from children. When you have used a needle, ensure to dispose of it in a sharps bin (found here). Take care to not bend or break the needle & dispose into the sharps bin once used. You can also find more information in our health guides (here).
