Imodium Classic 2mg capsules contain loperamide, which is an antidiarrheal medication used to relieve symptoms of diarrhoea and reduce the frequency of bowel movements.

  • Active ingredient: Loperamide (2mg per capsule).
  • The capsule shell may include gelatine and other excipients.
Please refer to patient information leaflet.
  • Adults and children over 12 years: Take two capsules initially, followed by one capsule after each loose stool. Do not exceed 6 capsules in 24 hours.
  • Follow the dosage instructions provided with the product or as directed by a healthcare provider.
  • Consult a Healthcare Professional: Before using Imodium Classic, consult with a healthcare provider, especially if you have underlying health conditions, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are taking other medications.
  • Dosage: Use as directed and do not exceed the recommended dosage.
  • Storage: Store Imodium Classic in a cool, dry place, and keep it out of the reach of children.
  • Duration of Use: Use this medication for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms.
  • Dehydration: If diarrhoea persists or worsens, consult a healthcare provider, as it may lead to dehydration.
