Bell’s Healthcare Children’s Allergy Relief 5mg/5ml Oral Solution provides effective relief from symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, and burning or itchy eyes, for adults and children over 2 years of age. Important information: Contains sucrose (3.0g per 5ml). Inform your doctor if you have an intolerance to some sugars or diabetes.

  • Ensure you know your child’s weight to administer the correct dosage. If in doubt, weigh your child and follow the instructions.
  • Do not give to children under 2 years.
  • Water or other liquid is not required to swallow the medicine.
  • The medicine may be taken with or without food.

Dosage Instructions:

  • Children aged 2 to 12 years who weigh 30kg (4st 7lb) or less: 1 x 5ml spoonful once daily
  • Children aged 2 to 12 years who weigh more than 30kg (4st 7lb): 2 x 5ml spoonfuls once daily
  • Adults and children over 12 years: 2 x 5ml spoonfuls once daily

Do not take if:

  • You are allergic to loratadine or any of the other ingredients listed for this medicine.
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • The child is younger than 2 years old.

Consult your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse before taking this medicine if:

  • You have liver disease.
  • You are scheduled for allergy skin tests (do not take for two days before to avoid affecting results).

If any of the above apply to you or if in doubt, consult your healthcare professional before use.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding: If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. Avoid use during pregnancy as a precaution. Do not take this medicine while breastfeeding, as loratadine is excreted in breast milk.
