This pain relief gel cools and soothes muscular and back pain. It helps to treat sports injuries or general aches and pains in joints and muscles.

Squeeze a small amount of the gel from its tube and apply to the affected area 3-4 times a day. Slowly rub it into the skin.

The amount of gel needed may vary, but typically the amount that is the size of a 1p or 2p coin is enough.

Leave at least 4 hours between applications. Do not apply more than 4 times in any 24-hour period. Do not use it for more than 7 days unless otherwise instructed by your doctor.

Wash your hands after use, unless your hands are the area being treated.

Store the product in a cool, dry place below 30 degrees C. Do not use it if the expiry date has passed.

If you are within the first 6 months of pregnancy or are breastfeeding, speak to your doctor before using this product. If breastfeeding, do not use this product on your breasts or on large areas of skin.

Do not use this product if you are already taking diclofenac tablets or any other NSAIDs, such as aspirin or ibuprofen.

This product is not suitable for use in children under 14 years old.

This product can increase the flammability of fabrics it comes into contact with. Be sure to change dressings, clothing, bedding, and any other fabrics used around this product regularly. Stay away from naked flames. Do not smoke while using this product.

Do not use this product on skin affected by a rash or eczema, cuts, or open wounds. Do not use it in the mouth, eyes, or other sensitive areas. This product is for external use only.

Do not apply this product to large areas of skin over a prolonged period of time, unless advised to do so by your doctor.

Do not use this product if you are allergic to diclofenac or any other NSAID painkillers, or any listed ingredients.

Speak to your doctor before use if you:

  • Are planning on sunbathing or using sun lamps, as your skin may be more sensitive to sunlight
  • Have ever had asthma
  • Have a stomach or duodenal ulcer, or have ever had these

If you experience the below side effects, stop using and speak to your doctor:

  • Skin rash with blisters, hives (itchy red rash)
  • Wheezing, shortness of breath, feeling of tightness in the chest
  • Swelling of face, lips, throat or tongue

Other side effects may include:

  • Skin rash
  • Itching
  • Reddening or smarting of skin
  • Sensitivity to the sun, showing signs of sunburn with itching, swelling or blistering
