Nizoral Dandruff Treatment 2% w/w Shampoo is designed to treat fungal infections on the scalp and body, including dandruff, seborrhoeic dermatitis (dry or greasy scaling of the scalp and other areas), and white to brown patches on the body caused by tinea versicolor (also known as pityriasis versicolor), often appearing after sun exposure.

For adults and adolescents over 12 years:

  • Wet hair thoroughly.
  • Apply a small amount of Nizoral Dandruff Treatment 2% w/w Shampoo to your scalp and massage it into a lather.
  • Leave the lather on your scalp for 3 – 5 minutes.
  • Rinse thoroughly.
  • Use every 3 or 4 days for 2 – 4 weeks.

To maintain a healthy scalp and help prevent dandruff from returning, use Nizoral Dandruff Treatment 2% w/w Shampoo once every 1 – 2 weeks.

If you stop using Nizoral Dandruff Treatment 2% w/w Shampoo altogether, your symptoms may return.

  • Do not use for children under 12 years of age.
  • For some indications use once daily for a maximum of 5 days.
  • For some indications, use once daily for a maximum of 3 days before exposure to sunshine.

Do not use this product if you have ever had a bad reaction to any of the ingredients. If in doubt, seek advice from a doctor or pharmacist before using Nizoral Dandruff Treatment 2% w/w Shampoo.

You may use Nizoral Dandruff Treatment 2% w/w Shampoo if you are pregnant, think you might be pregnant, or are breastfeeding.

As with most shampoos, if any gets into your eyes, rinse them gently with water.
