Care Decongestant Tablets are formulated for the relief of nose, sinus, and upper chest congestion. Containing pseudoephedrine, these tablets work by restricting blood vessels, reducing swelling, and decreasing mucus production to effectively alleviate congestion.

Active ingredient per tablet: pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 60mg.

Other ingredients: lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.

Please refer to patient information leaflet.
  • Take this medicine by mouth.
  • Do not exceed the stated dose.
  • Adults, the elderly, and children over 12 years: Take one tablet four times a day.
  • Do not give to children under 12 years.
  • If you forget a dose, take the next dose as soon as you remember.
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
  • If you accidentally take too many, see a doctor straight away and take the pack with you to show which medicine you have swallowed.

Serious conditions affecting blood vessels in the brain, such as posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) and reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome (RCVS), may occur.

Stop using Care Decongestant Tablets immediately and seek urgent medical attention if you develop symptoms that may be signs of PRES or RCVS. These include:

  • Severe headache with sudden onset
  • Feeling sick
  • Vomiting
  • Confusion
  • Seizures
  • Vision changes
